TFT XP and Leveling Table (Set 18)
You get 2 XP for free at the start of every round, and 4 gold buys 4 XP. The table shows the XP each level needs, the total from level 1 and its gold cost from an empty bar.

XP planner
Passive XP arrives at the start of each round; the round is the one whose planning phase you are in. If you buy no XP, you reach the target level at the start of that round.

How much XP do you need for level 8 in TFT?
Level 7 to 8 takes 56 XP, which is 56 gold from an empty bar. Level 1 to level 8 takes 132 XP in total.
How much XP are levels 9 and 10?
Level 8 to 9 takes 68 XP and 9 to 10 takes 68 XP. Going from 8 to 10 is 136 XP, or 136 gold.
How much passive XP do you get?
Every player gets 2 XP for free at the start of each round. To level faster, 4 gold buys 4 XP.
