When to play
Stage 2: Ahri's Blackthorn emblem, Blue Buff and crit set define the line; let Karma or Veigar hold the AP pieces early, with Malphite taking armor.
Stage 3: Build to 8 on a stable economy and roll for Ahri 2, since the itemized carry is four-cost even though the comp name says Reroll; stop before spending below your reserve.
Stage 4+: Complete the Blackthorn breakpoint with Rek'Sai, Warwick, Azir and Veigar, keep Ahri in the rear at 3-0 and Malphite forward at 0-3; use Zyra or Kha'Zix as a listed flex. Backrow Star favors Ahri, and All Fours can produce her copies.
