When to play
Stage 2: Open the Coven line of Caitlyn, Camille, Cassiopeia and Elise, the most common start for this board, and aim for a streak or at least a healthy HP bar. Slam the first AP components on Cassiopeia and keep the Gargoyle Stoneplate pieces for the front line.
Stage 3: Hit 6 at 3-2 and 7 at 3-5 without rolling. Pick up Diana and Hecarim to grow Vanguard and keep your gold: this board rolls about 12 times at level 8 and about 23 times at level 9, so you want interest going into 4-2.
Stage 4+: Level 8 at 4-2 and 9 at 5-1, then roll for Morgana 2 and Alune. Morgana runs Morellonomicon, Rabadon's Deathcap and Void Staff, Alune runs Archangel's Staff, Jeweled Gauntlet and Spear of Shojin, and Gözcü holds Gargoyle Stoneplate, Protector's Vow and Warmog's Armor. Hecarim, Gözcü, Lillia and Taric stand in the front row, Morgana and Diana right behind them, Alune and Ivern take the two back corners. A Lunar Emblem on Morgana pushes the Lunar trait much higher, and Lux is the level 10 cap.
